This is a brand new OEM genuine Skidoo fuel tank float sending unit grommet seal with a part number 513033606. This is brand new OEM genuine and in the package. This grommet needs to be replaced every 3-5 years due to the poor quality ethanol gas that is sold today. These grommets have a tendancy to soften up right at the where they seal on the edge of the tank and inside the tank from being submerged in gas. Then when you take your sled out, and it hits bumps and sloshes the gas inside the tank, the grommet will fail suddenly. Being it is at the bottom coner of the tank all your gas runs out and right on top of your brake rotor in most cases, causing a severe fire hazard, not to mention losing all your gas. Don’t let the failure of this grommet ruin your ride, just replace it preventively every 3-5 years so it does not leave you stranded.
